Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC Macro will fit Pentax
New Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC Macro large aperture wide-angle to short-telephoto zoom lens (28-76mm in full-frame terms) will fit Pentax and Samsung DSLR cameras. The “Macro” label means this lens features minimum focusing distance of 20cm and a maximum magnification of 1:3. There are only 7 diaphragm blades. Lens accepts 72mm size filters and is not so compact with it’s 79mm x 85.8mm (diameter/length) dimensions and 450g weight. Pricing and availability were not yet announced.
Update: will be available in October. MSRP = 63,000 yen (or around $534 USD).
