Pentax DA 14mm F2.8 on a film body

iXBT.com forum user Malykh tested Pentax DA 14mm wide angle lens on a 35mm film camera. DA series lenses dedicated for digital SLR cameras with 1.5x cropped sensors, so its image circle is smaller, but not exactly 1.5 times. DA 40mm F2.8 “pancake” covers full 35mm frame if you remove the hood, and DA 14mm looks more like 1.3x leaving room for CCD-shift shake reduction system manoeuvre.
