    Too bad.
I was really looking forward to a feature rich medium format camera to use with all of those great lenses.
I’m soooo sorry Pentax gave up.
But if anyone from Pentax is reading this, why not just send those left-over sample cameras which you have no need for to me rather than throwing them out?
Maybe I put them to use!

Maybe Samsung will pick up where Pentax left off!

Pretty dumb, dumb and even dumber move by Pentax. I’m so sorry to see such a great camera be side-lined. I would have gladly payed for this camera, as I do have a film version of it. I’m paying rental fees for other brands, which by now I could have . . . I just don’t know what to say! Big, Big disappointment Pentax . . .

That’s suspended not aborted. I’d say they were jumping in a bit early and decided to give it some time. Just wait the idea will be back.

  6. Samsung Goes Full Frame | PentaxLife:

[...] Of cause, we will not see any full frame professional K-mount DSLR neither from Samsung nor from Pentax until 2010 but the knowledge that Samsung is working on the full frame CMOS sensor sweetens the pill of the recent 645D news. [...]

I can’t believe all of you whiners. If you had any intention on buying one, you would have. Nobody was buying this stuff, – even if it were readily available outside of Japan, so when they decide to *suspend* production to focus on their white-hot K5 and K-r lines, people want to complain. Let them make money like the rest of the big boys. The more breathing room they have, the more innovation they can bring us next go-round.

    “Play the long game.”
