No More Firmware Updates For K10D
DPReview forums user rArWebWorks has quoted the words of unnamed service manager at the Golden, Colorado service center, who said that there won’t be any further firmware upgrades for Pentax K10D DSLR.
Earlier, Pentax Europe product manager Wolfgang Baus has confirmed ‘no more firmware updates for K10D’ policy to the popular German Pentax community DigitalFotoNetz.
More in the news: OK1000 has reported Apple adds Pentax K200D and K20D RAW support to Aperture 2.0 and iPhoto ’08.

All I want is for them to make the RAW button function the way it does on the K20D. I shoot in RAW most of the time, but sometimes I want to quickly switch to JPEG. I just want the button to toggle between the two — that’s all. That was the way I assumed that it would work when I ordered the K10D. But the only option, is to toggle between the current mode and the RAW+JPEG mode. I suppose it is useful for someone who primarily shoots JPEGs, but for a RAW shooter, it is no help at all.
This is not a complicated change, like improving the autofocus. All I want is this one little change… *sigh*

Has there been any other firmware upgrades to the K10D camera? Has anyone has any common/ problems with the camera?
