Hoya Pentax deal postponed
According to Reuters, Hoya Corp. to delay commencement of the tender offer originally scheduled for the beginning of this June to mid-June or later:
Hoya’s offer of 770 yen ($6.33) for each Pentax share will remain unchanged, but the company is in talks with Financial Services Agency officials about other changes to raise the chances of the bid’s success, such as lowering the minimum number of shares it seeks, said Hoya spokeswoman Akiko Maeyama.
