How to keep your sensor clean

Michael G. at Okay! One-Thousand! Pentax! blog writes about keeping clean the sensors of pre K10D cameras without Dust Reduction system. Here the most important things but I recommend to read entire post.

  1. Keep your camera body, all your lenses and your hands clean so the dust has less chances to get in.
  2. Turn your camera body down when you make a lens change.
  3. Avoid using compressed gas dusters.
  4. Do not touch the low-pass filter on the surface of the sensor unless you completely sure.

Also Michael shares a dozen of links on this topic so you could find anything you need.
