How to keep your sensor clean
Michael G. at Okay! One-Thousand! Pentax! blog writes about keeping clean the sensors of pre K10D cameras without Dust Reduction system. Here the most important things but I recommend to read entire post.
- Keep your camera body, all your lenses and your hands clean so the dust has less chances to get in.
- Turn your camera body down when you make a lens change.
- Avoid using compressed gas dusters.
- Do not touch the low-pass filter on the surface of the sensor unless you completely sure.
Also Michael shares a dozen of links on this topic so you could find anything you need.
