Handmade grip for K100D

A guy from Poland nicknamed desperadodrugi has made his own vertical grip at home. It looks a little creepy, weights around 400 grams and can’t handle batteries but it has a second shutter release button. This handmade grip was sold for 12.50 Polish zloty or around US$4.5.

The reason is probably that grips for Pentax cameras are too expensive or inaccessible like lenses in Poland. Maybe Pentax company should look at their distributor in Poland? Please do this.

It is impressive that he has been able to have a workable second shutter release button.

I’ve been thinking about making one for my own k100d out of wood but after seeing this I think I’ll manage without it :D
