Nikon announces 10 megapixels version of its budget digital SLR today. The most interesting thing, IMHO, is HI-1 setting boosting ISO up to 3200.
I bet it incorporates the same sensor as Sony A-100, Nikon D80 and Pentax K10D. But this sensor produces pretty noisy images at ISO 1600 (at least a lot of people complained). So, what the terrible noise (or noise reduction artifacts) we will see at ISO 3200?
LOL. Nobody will blame K10D for noise anymore :)
