    I'm thinking of switching from the Nikon D70 to the K200, but need some feedback on the battery life of the rechargeable AA's.

    You could expect from 700 to 800 shots on four 2500 mAh AAs and more than 1000 shots on a set of 2850 mAh AAs. This is for K100D or K100D Super.

    K200D is reported to have a little better battery life.

    Thanks Vitali. Looks like I'll be coming home to Pentax (I have a SuperProgram from the early 1980's - that still works!).
