PentaxLife » K-mount lenses » 2.8 zoom lens, which one to get?

    Since I'm going to a concert of The Police,
    I'm taking the plunge for a 2.8 zoom lens to 200mm
    for my Pentax K10D. Which one should I get, guys?

    Tamron SP AF70-200mm F/2.8
    or
    Sigma APO 70-200mm F2.8

    I would have gone with a Pentax lens but the new SDM is only up to 135mm

    suggestions much appreciated!

    there are discussions floating around over how well SDM is working. A number of people are reporting focus accuracy or possibly quality control issues profoundly with the Pentax 16-50 SDM.
