I would say DA* 16-50 as well, although I don't own it I own the 50-135 one and it is beautiful. I am waiting for my funds to replenished before I purchase the lens.

I think all are credible lenses. Someday however you will want to sell the lense and the brand name 'Pentax' will be worth more than the brand x's. The pentax is a really small lens
which can be convenient.

The other choices would be a wide angle zoom.
Most will go a little wider than 20mm which is a good thing. I'm using the new DA*16-50 zoom.
It's a physical monster--too big to be usable with the built in flash, but fast and provides a lot more options than a prime.

Hello everybody
I would like to get a wide angle and I really hesitate between 3 lens :
the pentax 21 mm f3.2 limited
the sigma 20 mm f1.8
the new zeiss 25 mm f2.8
what I saw on the web is that all of these 3 gems are really correct and I didn't find another choice for a wide angle.
