Yes contact Pentax France and tell them that you are on the same Forum as I am Benjamin Kanarek. Perhaps that can help to get this done more quickly...

Hello,

Another issue with my K10, my lens (a 16-45 f4) + body back focus by 1 meter at 1 meter distance from the subject in more than 10 EV (Dayligth) at the position 16mm nor at 45 mm position !!!

Front or back focusing could be ok at the infinity but not at 1 meter !!!!

I'm start to be a little bit mad about this cam !

I never had a problem with my D1 ! What's the mess with Pentax ? How can I work with a body that I don't trust AF ?
Currently I fix that by focusing at 45 and come back at 16mm !!!

Any same experience ? It is worth to contact Pentax (France in my case) to fix that ?

Humm look like it's the end of Pentax experience for me...

Regards.

Check my website:

http://www.cameramentor.com/dslr_split_image_focus_screen

I like mine a lot. It does have AE errors with certain AF lenses. But I don't use AF lenses much. If you find you have the error, you can either shoot manual exposure or dial in compensation as you prefer. Makes focusing much nicer, though.
