CNET Reviews posted review of Pentax entry-level DSLR today. CNET rating is 7.5 out of 10 - “Very good”.
The good: In-camera optical image stabilization; relatively compact; great mix of auto and manual features.
The bad: Auto white balance is warm in tungsten light; no raw-plus-JPEG mode; only 6 megapixels.
Frankly, you could extract L* JPEGs (”economy” compressed) from RAW files with the help of PEF2JPEG.
Update: And another one K100D review came from Australia. The Age: Pentax K100D digital SLR with Sigma DC 18-125mm lens. Their verdict is “Highly recommended”.
