Report from the Pentax booth at Photokina
Ishpuini posted a big report from the Pentax booth at Photokina on DPreview forums. He was able to talk to official and figure out a lot of information on K10D. For example, there will be sole in class 16bit RAW file format in K10D after firmware upgrade:
At this stage, files are uncompressed and leaving room for 16bits RAW. The electronics are ready for 16bit, but until software is not (all 12bit based) Pentax will wait to upgrade. This could be done through firmware though.
